One of my favorite places to hike an camp especially down around Judy Springs Trail area near the waterfall and Seneca Creek trail area, yes there is (BLACK BEAR'S) in the area so be prepared to hang your bear bag an be bear cautious. Bring a flashlight or headlamp and extra batteries once the sun goes down it gets so dark you can't even see your hand in front of your face. There is absolutely no cell phone reception anywhere on the mountain. I recommend never going into the backcountry without a (Hiking GPS) with updated topo maps & extra batteries for ur GPS.

Nice views weather permitting but hard to navigate once you get to the Lamberjack trail
